The Joya de Nicaragua Cabinetta No. 4 cigar is likely to come off as a gimmick with it's two toned wrapper. However, there is no gimmick here with the Joya De Nicaragua Cabinetta. The dual wrapper on this cigar features both Ecuadorian Shade grown and Nicaraguan Criollo leaves to give this cigar an interesting profile.

Generally, when we talk about two tone wrappers it refers to a barber pole style. On the Joya de Nicaragua the wrappers are horizontally one on top of the next with the meeting point hidden underneath the wrapper. The Ecuadorian Shade Grown portion covers from the foot of the cigar up to the base of the band and the Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper covers from the band to the cap.

The Joya de Nicaragua Cabinetta is well constructed and spongy to the touch. While some folks claim to have had issues with the Ecuadorian wrapper burning too quickly, we haven't had that problem arise just yet. To be on the safe side I would recommend keeping these in the humidor for a few days after arrival to ensure they are at the right moisture level for smoking.

Flavors like cedar bark, savory spices, almonds, pepper, creamy vanilla, tobacco, oats, wheat, and grains make up the flavor profile of this simple, straightforward cigar. This Joya de Nicaragua Cabinetta cigar was specifically blended to be a mellow Mild to Medium bodied cigar.
