The J. Fuego Delirium Toro is a medium-full bodied and full flavored cigar blended by Jesus Fuego of Helix and Don Tomas fame. His family has been making cigars for 5 generations. The Delirium has a Brazilian Maduro wrapper, a Costa Rican corojo binder, and is filled with a 50/50 Honduran and Nicaraguan Corojo blend. While it certainly isn't the prettiest cigar, appearances don't matter much if you're just going to smoke it. As long as it is well constructed, which this appears to be, there is no cause for concern.

Coming off the foot, one would think that was a very earthy cigar, like the smell of a rain drenched dirt pile. Though the opening third of the cigar has a dry chocolate and coffee finish. It's almost like eating a powdered mocha mix from the packet with some undertones of fruity sweetness. The J. Fuego Delirium puts off a large amount of thick white smoke. This cigar is slow to get started but around the halfway point the flavors change and some spice is introduced along with some leather and wood flavors.

As other reviewers have said this sounds like it is the typical maduro but there is something special and unique about the flavors present and their development with this cigar. The J. Fuego Delirium is a good cigar to take a chance on.
