This cigar comes from one of the biggest names in the tobacco business using tobacco that is not necessarily what he is best known for. These medium bodied Honduran Corojo wrapper beauties from Tabaquero Maestro Don Pepin were originally rolled at his El Rey de Los Habanos factory in Miami. The “Baez” in Tobacos Baez refers to the town in Cuba where Don Pepin grew up and worked in his uncle's cigar factory starting at the ripe old age of 11.

The flavor palate of the Tabacos Baez cigars is one of heavy baking spices like nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice with some earthy and creamy coffee flavors to round out the experience. The cigar itself has a pretty red tint mottled in to the otherwise dark brown wrapper. The ash holds well and and the cigars are very well constructed. The Tabacos Baez cigars are a much mellower and smoother smoke than what we have come to expect from the Maestro Pepin.
