Alec Bradley Black Market Cigars
Alec Bradley Black Market
The Alec Bradley Black Market cigar is one of the newest additions to Alan Rubin's famed Alec Bradley portfolio. Introduced in 2011 and hailing from Tabacos de Oriente in Danli, Honduras, the Black Market consists of long fillers from Panama and Honduras, a Sumatra binder, and is cloaked with a toothy Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper leaf. This stick is definitely one that lives up to the Alec Bradley motto, “Live true..you be you.” Some may say it's so good it should be illegal!
The Black Market has a stylish, ultra-modern appearance, with a top band covering the lower half of the cigar, and a smaller center band hidden underneath with the words “Black Market.” The cigar, very rugged and veiny in appearance, opens up with a barrage of woody, earthy flavors and a subtle spice on the back of the throat. The cool white smoke later settles into a leathery taste with a strong espresso taste and a hint of dark chocolate on the finish. The draw is firm, but delivers ample amounts of smooth smoke that treats the palate with a very relaxing experience.
Overall, the Alec Bradley Black Market is a medium to full-bodied cigar that would be a great nightly smoke. It would be nicely complimented by a cup of strong coffee or a stout dark beer. Similar sticks to this one include the Alec Bradley Maxx and the Partagas Black. The Black Market is a cigar that would be worth the trouble of smuggling if need be, but thankfully it's available to all who dare to try it.
