Not quite as strong as the name might suggest, the El Mejor Espresso cigar is nonetheless a tasty and affordable Maduro for everyday enjoyment. Originally developed at Tabacalera Esteli in 2006 as the El Mejor Maduro and now produced by the legendary Nestor Plasencia, the Espresso is comprised of a robust blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos held within a leathery Cameroon binder that is itself wrapped in a dark Mexican Maduro leaf.



Starting at less than $2.00 a stick, the El Mejor Espresso is a fine cigar for beginners looking to fill a new humidor with some fuller-bodied smokes and is also perfect for more experienced smokers looking for a classic Maduro they can light up anytime without breaking the bank. Consider comparing to other bargain cigars like the La Vieja Habana Brazilian Maduro.
