J Fuego Natural Cigars
J Fuego Natural
The J. Fuego Natural was the first cigar Jesus Fuego released after launching his own company, J. Fuego, in 2006. The third-generation tobacco man was most noted for his role at Rocky Patel, but his work post-Rocky is what has really gained him notoriety. Natural would be the first cigar in his partnership with the Plasencia family, a relationship that would deliver back-to-back Top 25 honors from Cigar Aficionado. The J. Fuego Natural sports a Nicaraguan Shade Grown Criollo wrapper that has a beautiful orange hint over a mixture of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. Five sizes are made at Plasencia's Tabacos de Oriente factory alongside the rest of the J. Fuego family.
Fuego has always stressed the balance of the Natural, and the balance is what you get. There's a few varieties of woodsiness, earth, a touch of leather and then a substantial amount of creaminess that is interrupted by a black pepper. The J. Fuego Natural is medium in nature, and a far cry from Fuego's Origen or Sangre de Toro line. While most of Fuego's other blends have a distinct amount of kick, the J. Fuego Natural takes an extremely different approach to create its profile, yet it's hard to imagine anyone complaining about it. If you like espresso, there isn't much of a better cigar to pair with than the J. Fuego Natural.
