Alec Bradley MAXX Cigars
Alec Bradley MAXX
Alec Bradley MAXX is without a doubt the cigar that put Alec Bradley Cigars on the map. Crafted by hand in Honduras, the Maxx is bold and rich, featuring a 4-country filler blend comprised of choice tobaccos from Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Colombia. It's then wrapped in a Costa Rican binder and finished with a dark Nicaraguan maduro wrapper. The MAXX is offered in several unusual sizes, and was one of the pioneers of the big ring gauge trend.
The MAXX starts off bold and spicy. Immediately, its full body is readily apparent. Keeping strength, the profile develops into a complex buffet of cocoa and coffee notes, all the while carrying a solid, earthy core. It's easy to see how this stick made Alec Bradley a household name among cigar smokers.
MAXX makes an ideal cigar for anyone wanting to make the last jump from medium cigars into the full-bodied category. It's strong, but not overpowering. This stick pairs nicely with dark beer, coffee, or full-bodied red wine. Many cigars in the Alec Bradley portfolio seem to pay homage to MAXX in one way or another, such as Prensado and Tempus. From its inception, MAXX was an instant classic.
