Camacho Triple Maduro Cigars
Camacho Triple Maduro
The cigar-making world is nothing if not traditional, but the Camacho Triple Maduro cigar shows there is still room for new champions. Never one to shy away from creating powerful smokes, president Christian Eiroa tasked Camacho's Rancho Jamastran factory with developing a cigar using only the choicest Maduro tobaccos for the filler, binder, and wrapper. In early 2007, after a full year of constant blending and re-blending, they were able to release the world's first All Maduro cigar. Artfully comprised of five different extra-fermented Honduran tobaccos, this cigar fully explores the rich flavor found in this entirely new realm.
As should be expected the Camacho Triple Maduro is a dark and menacing stogie, bound in large armor-like silver bands. Due to the thickness of the leaves and the denseness with which they are constructed, adequate time in the humidor is the recommended preparation. Patience rewards the smoker with a treasure trove of pungent aromas and juicy flavors as the cigar attacks the palate with a lush cocoa and coffee rush. Don't hurry the quest, lest you find yourself too early defeated by the hearty wood and smooth spices that develop as the cigar mellows ever so slightly while still delivering a head-buzzing kick. The black and gray ash will display a resolve nearly as strong as the smoker who is able to nub the cigar, a triumphant conclusion to a true adventure.
Not for the faint of heart, cigar-warriors who are prepared for the experience will find the Camacho Triple Maduro cigar a hearty companion on a cold night with a dark ale. Buy a box to give them the chance to joust for your attention against your La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero and 601 Maduro Blue.
