Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 Cameroon Cigars
Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 Cameroon
The Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 was the first cigar made with Rocky's name on it and since its introduction, Rocky had added the Vintage 1992 (Sumatra), Vintage 1999 (Connecticut) and Vintage 2003 (Cameroon) to join the original Broadleaf Vintage. The Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 is the newest in the series and it features a beautifully aged Cameroon wrapper. However, it still retains much of the same character that the Vintage Series is famous for. For this blend, Rocky placed a Cameroon wrapper around a Nicaraguan binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The wrapper is what gets noticed, but the fillers are key for the added flavor.
This Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 is a solidly medium bodied cigar with flavors that are rich, full and complex. This Cameroon wrapper brings about notes of sweet spices, cedar and coffee with a nutty finish. Combine that wrapper leaf with the binder and filler and the end result is a pretty awesome mixture of white pepper, dark chocolate and espresso with sweet spice that lingers on your lips while stimulating your palate.
