Room 101 Ltd Conjura Cigars
Room 101 Ltd Conjura
At the 2010 IPCPR Trade Show in New Orleans, Matt Booth introduced his first limited edition to Room 101's line-up, the Room 101 Ltd Conjura. "Conjura" means "conspiracy" in Spanish and was the first of Room 101's Limitado Series. Like the rest of the Room 101 line, Conjura is made at Camacho's Rancho Jamastran factory in Honduras. There are four sizes: 4 x 48, 504 (4 3/4 x 50), 605 (5 x 60) and 546 (5 1/2 x 54) — all box-pressed. Outside it's a Honduran Rosado wrapper over a Honduran binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Originally limited to 50,000 cigars total, Matt Booth decided to increase production due to the overwhelming success, including a 93 rating from Cigar Insider for the smallest size.
Flavor-wise, the Room 101 Ltd Conjura offers a unique contrast of strength and subtleties. Flavors such as creaminess, pepper, cinnamon, earth and meatiness. Construction is top-notch, like any Camacho-made cigar and the balance is what has separated this release from the normal Room 101s. Flavor is just south of full, strength is medium-full and body is in the normal Camacho range, full. For those that are looking a fuller version of the current Camacho offerings, you have to join the conspiracy.
