La Flor Dominicana Litto Gomez Diez Cigars
La Flor Dominicana Litto Gomez Diez
La Flor Dominicana Litto Gomez Diez cigars are the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice whose resulting characteristics far exceed expectation. The man who pushed to make it all happen is none other than LFD’s resident mastermind Litto Gomez, who after having already made a mark on the tobacco world with plenty of potent and flavorful smokes made the risky decision to produce a cigar unlike any he had created before. Committing himself to cultivating filler, binder, and wrapper tobaccos grown only on his Dominican La Canela farm, he would have to wait a long four years before knowing if his gamble would pay off.
And pay off it did. From the very beginning, with its mineral aroma and toothy appearance, this is a cigar you’ll be happy to hold and even more excited to light. Rich puffs of velvety smoke swirl through the palate, chock full of dark roast coffee and toasted oak. Evolving nice and slow to match the burn, some leather backed by a sweet cinnamon spice enters during an ever more powerful second third. There’s still some room for subtlety during the latter stages, with toast and loamy earth evident to create a complex profile still dominated by distinct Cubanesque tastes.
Like many of the more powerhouse LFD offerings available, yes we’re looking at you Double Ligero, expect a La Flor Domincana Litto Gomez Diaz to start out medium to full in strength and then continue to build until it hits full stride. Somewhat limited in release, we may not have all sizes in stock at all times so when you see your favorite it is time to act. If we’re out, maybe you’ll have some luck scoring a box of Pinar Del Rio’s Flores y Rodriguez Cabinet Selection Habano instead.
