The Guillermo León cigar sports a Habana wrapper grown in Ecuador, over a double binder of both Corojo for strength and Cameroon for sweetness. The filler tobaccos are from the Dominican Republic, Peru, Nicaragua and Brazil. This cigar is produced by the La Aurora family of cigars.
The foot of a Guillermo Leon cigar smells of earthen tobacco and a small bit of pepper. The 1st third is slightly spicy balanced with some nuts, sweetness, and coffee flavors. The 2nd third brings about more of that spice with a new undistinguishable sweetness to balance it out some. The final third of the cigar kicks the sweetness away and is full on spice all the way through. The final ending notes are on the sweeter side.
This Mild-Medium bodied cigar is a bit light for the heavier smokers but still has good flavor making it a great choice for newer smokers. It would also be a good choice as an early part of the day cigar for the full-bodied cigar lovers.
