The Rocky Patel 15^th Anniversary cigar was designed by Rocky Patel to honor his, you guessed it, 15 years in the cigar making business. This box pressed beauty is made up of Nicaraguan fillers and is wrapped in an Ecuadoran Habano leaf. This is a box pressed cigar with a dark, somewhat oily wrapper with little to no veining present.

The aroma off the foot has some dirty earth notes along with some hay and a non-distinct sweetness. The pre-light draw gave off some more of that musty barnyard flavor mixed with some harsh black pepper that coated the mouth. Once lit, the spice is joined by some delicious flavors including bitter/dark coffee and the chocolate flavor that Nicaraguan leaves are known for.

When this cigar first came out, there were some concerns about the final third of the cigar being harsh. Now that this cigar has been out for awhile and has had some additional time to age, it has really come into it's own.
