Hammer + Sickle Hermitage No. 1 Cigars
Hammer + Sickle Hermitage No. 1
In cigars as in life you only get one chance at getting things right the first time, and the Hammer + Sickle Hermitage No. 1 cigar pulls off that feat in style. Having had luck with hand-rolled premium cigars in a number of different styles, brand owner Eric Hanson decided it was time to add a cigar containing rich, complex Nicaraguan tobacco to the amazing Hammer + Sickle lineup. Working with Tabacalera Aguilar, a collaboration that was another first for him, Hanson created a fine Jalapa Valley-sourced blend of Criollo leaf from low, middle, and high primings and coated them with a binder of potent Esteli-grown ligero. An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, harvested among the clouds at the base of the Andes, was selected to perfectly compliment the full-flavored heart of the cigar.
A luxurious experience, packed into an equally exquisite hand-stitched leather box, you'd be happy to smoke the Hermitage No. 1 at twice the price. With an exotic and complex spiciness, complimented by leather and hazelnuts, this box-pressed cigar is a bit of a beast in the strength department so novice smokers should approach carefully. For the rest of you, pair with a vodka martini and see how the Hermitage, which means 'Place of Rest', lives up to its name.
