Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition Cigars
Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition
It’s not often enough in today’s fast paced, technology-driven world that you see a son following in the footsteps of a famous father in an old school business, or at least being able to achieve the same level of quality work, but with his Reserva Limited Edition 2012 cigar, Jaime Garcia easily lives up to his genetic potential. Year after year the My Father factory continues to release some of the best cigars from any nation and this release does nothing to diminish that reputation. By carefully selecting only the finest tobaccos and blending them with an expert’s touch, each and every vitola is stacked with complex flavor and exceptional balance. For this cigar, a Nicaraguan Pele de Oro binder was chosen to compliment both the Nicaraguan filler and Ecuadoran shade grown Connecticut wrapper.
In early 2011 My Father Cigars announced that they were working on a limited edition extension to the popular and highly-rated Jaime Garcia line, named after the company's president, Jaime García, son of the legendary Don Pepín García. In July 2011 & 2012 the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition was shown off in the García's popular Toro format of 6 1/2 inches by 52.
There are a total of sixteen cigars per box, with fifteen of them featuring the wrapper of the year and the 16th being an oddball. In 2011, Jaime featured the Conneticut Broadleaf Maduro over Pelo de Oro leaf for 15 and the 16th was a Connecticut natural leaf as a teaser to show what was to come as the 2012 Limited Edition Reserva Especial cigar.
