Nestor Miranda Art Deco Cigars
Nestor Miranda Art Deco
The Nestor Miranda Art Deco is yet another great release from the Miami Cigar & Company this year. A joint project between the Miami Cigar & Company and Don Pepin Garcia, Nestor Miranda challenged Pepin to use some non-Nicaraguan tobacco in this blend. The result is a cigar that is made up of 60% Nicaraguan Corojo 99, 40% Dominican San Vincente fillers. The Nestor Miranda Art Deco is then bound using both a Dominican Criollo '98 and a Nicaraguan Habano '00 leaf and finally wrapped in a Nicaraguan Corojo '06.
The aroma from the foot is cocoa, earth, and cinnamon with the pre-light draw of coffee and spice. The flavors prevalent in this cigar are more of those found in the foot aroma and pre-light draw. The cigar starts off as mild-medium bodied and ends up as medium to full bodied.
These are a solid smoke for experienced smokers and are probably a bit too bold for newer smokers. I'd love to see what these taste like after some extra time resting in my humidor.
