A. Turrent Triple Play Cigars Cigars
A. Turrent Triple Play
The A. Turrent Triple Play cigar strides a path few have attempted and in doing so is able to reach heights unattainable by lesser Maduros. The master blenders at the La Flor de Copan factory in Honduras, under the direction of fifth-generation cigar maker Alejandro Turrent, have successfully forged a full-flavored stogie using nothing but thick, lush tobacco naturally fermented to a rich Maduro color and taste. The filler sourced from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Mexico is hearty enough to be a Maduro lover's delight by itself, but the dark Connecticut Broadleaf binder and San Andrés Morrón wrapper take the experience to the pinnacle of enjoyment.
More controlled for an all-Maduro cigar than other similar sticks, the A. Turrent Triple Play is accessible to any lover of the dark leaf who prefers subtlety over raw power by topping out at medium-full in body, reminiscent of the CAO MX2. Pair this fine cigar with a spicy rye whiskey for an excellent accompaniment, whether sipped neat or in a savory Sazerac.
