Cabaiguan Maduro Cigars Cigars
Cabaiguan Maduro
The Cabaiguan Maduro cigar is a slight twist on the original Cabaiguan line. The Cabaiguan Guapos keeps the same Nicaraguan filler and binder but instead of having an Ecuadoran Connecticut shade grown wrapper, it has a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. Cabaiguan is the name of Don Pepin's Cuban hometown, and as this is a joint project between he and Pete Johnson of Tatuaje, the name makes sense.
All I know is that Don Pepin and Pete Johnson make some great cigars. These may be a little more expensive than I'd like to spend on them but I still find myself picking up a few of these at a time and putting them into my humidor rotation. The Guapos are also available in a natural wrapper.
