Camacho Connecticut Cigars Cigars
Camacho Connecticut
Camacho Connecticut cigars were made for those who enjoy the classic flavor of Camacho Corojo but want something a bit more tamed down. They were released in 2009 as Camacho's first Connecticut-wrapped cigar, and while not “mild” per se, they have about half the strength of their corojo-wearing big brothers. A bold blend of Honduran and Dominican fillers and a Honduran binder are embraced by an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper leaf. Hand-made in sunny Honduras.
The silky light brown wrapper leaf gleams underneath the classy white band. Very impressive construction is topped off with a solid draw that produces billows of white smoke, slathering the palate with spicy white pepper and earthy flavors. Grassy notes and a hint of cinnamon are present on the finish. It's like a Camacho Corojo, only lighter and a bit more complex.
This is a great choice for intermediate smokers or anyone that simply doesn't want a cigar so strong that they are going to be knocked off their feet. It's a great mid-day or evening cigar and pairs excellently with champagne or white wine. Without a doubt medium-to-full-bodied, similar cigars include Perdomo Fresco and Flor de Oliva Gold. Camacho Connecticut proves that the Eiroa family really can produce a cigar that isn't among the world's strongest!
