Winston Churchill The Late Hour Cigars
Winston Churchill The Late Hour is the dark, opulent follow-up cigar to the original, hugely-successful Winston Churchill blend made by Davidoff in the Dominican Republic. Over the years, Davidoff has been known to produce some of the most exclusive, luxurious cigars money can buy. Over the past decade or so, the folks at Davidoff seem to have put in extra work in offering fuller-bodied alternatives to the mild and smooth stogies with which the name is synonymous. It's safe to say they've pretty much mastered it, especially with the release of Winston Churchill The Late Hour. Here, we have a rich blend of cask-aged Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers inside two binders, one from Mexico and one from Ecuador. The wrapper chosen for this particular stick is a chocolate brown Ecuador Habano leaf which adds its own level of depth to the blend. As a side note, the filler blend, as mentioned, is aged in Scotch single-malt whiskey casks for six months before completing the aging process. According to Davidoff, this is something no other cigar manufacturer has attempted to date. It's safe to say that calling Winston Churchill The Late Hour "special" is an enormous understatement.
