La Aroma De Cuba

La Aroma De Cuba

Originally a favorite cigar of Winston Churchill and now one of the best-selling Pepín García blends, La Aroma de Cuba has a storied history. After decades of being discontinued, Robert Levin, head of Ashton, brought back the La Aroma de Cuba brand in 2002. In 2008, Ashton introduced an extension to the La Aroma de Cuba brand, La Aroma de Cuba Edición Especial, made by the hottest cigarmaker of the day, Don Pepín García. A year later, it was announced that the original La Aroma de Cuba had been reblended by Pepín and production moved from the Dominican Republic to Nicaragua. The La Aroma de Cuba New Blend features a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers. The line-up is made up of seven sizes: Immensa (5 1/2 x 60), Robusto (5 x 54), Rothschild (4 3/4 x 50), Belicoso (5 1/2 x 52), Monarch (6 x 52), Marquis (5 3/4 x 48) and Churchill (7 x 50).
