J Fuego Origen
In 2009, Jesus Fuego's Tabacos S.A. introduced its newest line of cigars, J. Fuego Origen. After years of working for Rocky Patel, Jesus Fuego, a third generation tobacco man, set out on his own partnering with Nestor Plasencia to create a variety of new cigars. At Plasencia's Tabacos de Oriente factory in Danlí, Honduras the two would craft award-winning blends such as the J. Fuego Gran Reserva Corojo #1, J. Fuego Sangre de Toro and Xikar HC. The J. Fuego Origen is offered in six sizes: Lancero (7 1/2 x 38), 6 x 50 (Toro), 5 1/2 x 52 (Belicoso), 4 7/8 x 49 (Robusto), Corona Gorda (5 1/2 x 46) and the popular 5 x 44 Original. For the Origen, Fuego crafted a blend of only Corojo. Four different nationalities are represented: a Brazilian Corojo wrapper, a Costa Rican Corojo Binders and Nicaraguan and Honduran Corojo fillers. (See more J Fuego Cigars)
